About Us:
Ocean Publishing is a Israeli publishing house, established in 2008 by brothers Hagi Bareket and Asaf Bareket.
Our books are distributed and sold in all major bookstores in Israel, and has been given extent coverage in the Israeli media, receiving excellent reviews.
Adventure Series:
The first project of Ocean Publishing is a series of translated children's classics called Adventure Series. The aim of the series is to reintroduce beloved children's classics to Israeli kids today, and in order to do so we have approached well-known Israeli authors and asked them to pick a classic they loved as children, and translate it for us. We also work with some of Israel's best illustrators, both for the covers and inside illustrations.
We are giving extra care to make sure the translation is made fully and faithfully, and the finished book is of the highest quality possible, as these classics deserve.
